Regarding the brake lock lever. Anyone able to tell me where the rear of the spring attaches?? The front obviously hooks around the pin  that goes thru the clevis at the bottom of the rod. The parts manual shows a "leg" that the spring hooks to. I wonder if the leg was held on by the bolts that mount the platform assembly? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, that leg (p/n 72073086) is secured by the lower bolt which mounts the foot board.
