History:  Bought this tractor 1 1/2 years ago.  Changed all filters then.  Tractor is a pd with 3700 hours and has a good maintenance history.  I am the third owner.  This tractor just cuts stalks.  So no heavy tillage.  Prior two owners used it as his primary tillage tractor.  Transmission light came on towards the end of cutting stalks.  Fluid level is fine.  Looks and smells fine.  No issues other than light on no matter what rpm.  I know Dr Allis on a prior post asked if the owner was warned by the light.  Possible screen plugged?

If your oil looks smells, tastes and feels fine, more than likely one of those squirrelly stalks caught the light wire, and pulled it, or damaged it and the wire is grounded out to the chassis somewhere.  If you have gauges you can check your pressures to be sure you don't damage something.

I had a 7020 PS we chased a dim trans pressure lite.  The sender is behind the fuel tank, we removed the tank (after a new pump didnt fix the problem) and found where the wire runs over the trans it had rubbed the insulation off and would partially ground out.  Since your doing stalks Id hold out for the wire being pulled off.  Good luck

My 7050 had the light on most of the time recently. I had it in a local shop to get some hydraulic valve work done and mentioned that light. It was a head scratcher the little time I looked for a cause. It was a head scratcher for the shop too but they found the little connector at the light was a bit loose and they just pushed on it and it works fine now but I may need a new light sometime in the future.
