agcopartsbooks.com shows the primer on page 74 but says "Refer to FUEL SYSTEM - HAND PRIMER PUMP group for components" There is no such group on their site that I can find. Does anyone have that section of the parts book?

I skipped right over that because the diagram was labeled ether starting system. I'm an idiot.
IH - International Harvester dealer? What would I ask for?

I put together primer rebuild kits. The parts are readily available from a local pump shop, Agco dealer, or IH dealer. The main problem is the plunger seal gets old and leaks air/fuel. That is only available as a plunger assembly.
Stanadyne number 23457, or
AGCO 74063231 and is about 45-50$. I don't have the IH #
The kits I put together have that plunger, the 2 check valves and 3 orings inside, and with shipping run $68. Those primers are RoosaMaster/Stanadyne built units.
210 "too hot to farm" puller, part of the "insane pumpkin posse". Owner of Guenther Heritage Diesel, specializing in fuel injection systems on heritage era tractors. stock rebuilds to all out pullers!

Most of the IH tractors had them removed.

The Agco Kit only contains the plunger, and the little hold down ring on the plunger stem.

I've never seen anyone offer a kit, they just sell the plunger assembly, or the other parts individually.

I had a wrench want to do away with mine. No. It makes filter changes so much easier. Got to have the dang thing pointed downhill as it is.
