Thanks

Go to AGCO parts books and log in as a guest. Search for your tractor and this will tell you what you need. Good place to buy a manual too. Good luck.

There are two filters. Bottom side of trans one on each side behind round covers. Make sure they go back together the was they came apart. I can get part numbers tomorrow.

Dan is describing the hydraulic filters in the belly of the rear end. The transmission filter if located behind the left hand engine frame rail. It is a spin on type. There is also a screen under a plate right behind the hydraulic pumps that should occasionally be cleaned.

I also have a  7040 with power director and when I took off the transmission plate behind the hyraulic pump there was supposed to be a screen to clean and put back on but instead I found a filter not a screen. Anybody know why and what the part number is?

A filter on suction side would restrict oil flow to pump with cold oil.    MACK

Anyone know what the part number is for the screen filter I found underside  behind the hydraulic pump behind a plate that had 6 bolts holding it on? The Allis parts diagram doesn't show it.

70253478 is the suction screen. It is not a paper filter, it is a screen that can be washed out and cleaned. Used on models 7010 thru 7080 and 8010 thru 8070.
