adjustment is ahead of the firewall up in plain sight, the one end of the cable attaches there, and when you look at it, and want to adjust it, adjust it the opposite way that you would think it should go! i'd hafta go look at mine again to tell it better! lol

A new clutch cable fixed my 7050. My brother's 7030 needed new pivot linkage bushings. IIRC you can loosen the cable u-bolt clamp and pull the cable forward so there is no clutch pedal free travel. That may do it for you.

Just replaced a cable a few weeks ago.  You would be surprised how easy the clutch is to push with a new cable and bushings.  If those bushings are bad adjustment won't help you much.

I tried to replace that picture or edit the post, guess I can't.  Here is another picture with some better fonts.  Tried a couple of different colors black seemed to work best.

It doesn't take a lot of wear on those bushings. At least on my brother's 7030 it didn't. After I did everything else I replaced the bushings which looked good and that seemed to have been the fix.

If your knee gets sore from clutching then the cable is junk. That's how my 7050 was and it was hard to shift without grinding in low gear so I just avoided low then the cable finally snapped. It shifted better than ever with a new one.

Great illustration LB
