The hitch holes were broke out on mine when I got it and I have a good replacement housing. What do I need to look for removing it. Will the pto shaft stay with the tractor? Any advice and experience is appreciated. Scott

Here is picture of one I did a while ago with the PTO housing removed.
![]() I did not take a picture of the PTO setup. The long shaft will stay with the housing, it slides in just above the ring gear so leave room to pull the assembly out about 2 feet. NOTE make sure you engage the PTO lever on the left side of the seat, if not the collar will fall down when you pull it apart. You do not have to take off the top 3 point shaft housing, I had that off for reseal already. I use anerobic sealer for reseal on it, the factory used silicone.

You need to engage the coupler disconnect to the left of the seat. If you don't do that, the coupler will fall down into the housing.
