HD6 Clutch Throwout Bearing Grease... Thing

Anyone experience replacing the grease line that runs from the throwout bearing to the steering clutch housing cover on an HD6?
If you did, how did you do it? I've visited three places in the largest town within an hour of me and they all three did the hmm/giggle/chuckle for a few minutes before telling me they can't help. Both my lines are completely rotten, both ends either broken off or hanging by a sliver of metal.

The first type was a line  with a wick  and recieved the oil from bevel gear case and the second type is a  greace gun line instaled on the bigger inspection stering cluch cover

A grease gun hose works as the threads are the same size or can be fit with a reducing fitting , 1/8 pipe thread , drilling a hole in cover of housing to bring hose or fitting to access point .

A local tractor shop speculated the pipe thread might be grease gun line; I hadn't gotten to trying to figure out how to test that theory.
I've ordered some parts, we'll see how it goes.

Everyone here who has dry backend HD6 ran a greaseline hose to the throwout bearing to ensure lubrication
tits tyres and tracks

they all cost you money
