In the wake of Willford Burmley’s death, it got me to thinking about something. Was it him that used to do the AC commercials? I can’t really remember, but for some reason I thought it might have been him. It was some famous actor.

I remember the Ford tractor commercials back in the late 50's and early 60's had Tennessee Ernie Ford doing them.  I remember the first line in one was "Is your 5 bottom dragging?"  My mother thought that was the funniest thing for someone to say on the radio.
