All WC-WF-WD-WD45 and D17 use 70229980 governor weights. 70226785 is the gov spring for a WD and WD45 and gets you 1700-1800 RPM. 70229519 is a D17 governor spring that will get you 2,000 RPM or a little more. ***** 70248572 are the governor weights for a 170 and 175 and they are about 30% lighter in weight and use a 70226785 governor spring. So many times I read on here where the claim of using a 170/175 governor in a WD or D-17 and it's pretty clear the claimer doesn't know what parts work with what engine. I don't even know these days if one can even buy 170 or 175 governor weights from AGCO and if they would even be correct if they did offer something. One thing for sure, if you install 70229980 governor weights in a 170 or 175 and don't change the governor spring to a 70229519, your engine will only hit 1800 RPM !!! not 2000 RPM like it should.
