Thanks for the update Joe, It would be good to get his address to send him cards to give him something to focus on rather than stare at the walls waiting for them nurses. Guess if he's hanging out with them nurses we don't have to worry about snow in Illinois over the holidays. Thoughts and prayers going out to Shameless and prayers for the Healthcare providers that are taking care of our friend

Damn, I hate hearing stuff like that about poor ole shameless. I think that he's been on this forum about as long as I have, which has to be getting close to 30 years. When I was gathering up treasures in his area, wife and I spent some time with him and his wife, and extended family of the nicest dogs ever. Sure praying for a speedy recovery for him. Darrel

Well, I did not get done what I wanted as I called ole Shameless this morning to get the infor and he did not answer his phone and his wife was not there either,,,, Then,,,my son showed up as his SUV had broke a tie rod end up in the mountains while Elk hunting,,so I got trailer ready and headed for the mountains,,,, I called him again about noon when I got where I had phone service up there,,still no answer!! I'll try him again tamorrow morning,,,,,,I'm keeping Positive thoughts about our Dear friend,,,,,,

Well, I just got an update on ole Shameless from DeeAnn. She says they took him in to Lincoln as there were NO rooms available in Omaha. Cause was A-Fib,,,? Dr told her they would most likely send him home "maybe" tamorrow,,,,!!! YEA!! He is still very weak and has just started to walk a little ,,,,,but rooms are at a premium in Nebraska at this time.
If anyone wants to send a card his address is "Shameless Dude",,,C/O PO Box 222,,,,Blair, NE 68008 He told me to relay "Many Thanks" for all the concerns and ,,,and,,he would do his very best to get well quick and get the "machine" going as quick as possible since everyone was getting antsy about the lack of the "Pretty" ,,,,,  Thanks for everything,,Guys.

OKAY,,,,a great update on the Snowmaker hisself,,,,,, He is still very weak but at least he got to go home Monday afternoon and his wife is taking great care of his needs. He tells me about all he can do is hobble from bed to the potty and back and THAT alone is great news from where he was just last week. He told me to relay his heartfelt THANKS for all the letters and cards and between him and DeAnn,,they will answer every one!!! Many "Thanks" to this GREAT bunch of guys,,,YA'll Are just the BEST,,,!!!

Thanks for the update Joe, that there is an answered prayer. And a special shout out to his wife who is tending to his needs and probably getting nudged to get the Purdy Machine out by him too. You two take care of each other, the machine can wait, least thats what I'm a thinking here in Central Illinois. Thanks again Joe!

I guess I talked to Dale the same day Joe did. He sounded weak but said he thought he might survive. Not much to add to Joe's post except Mr. Shameless said he hoped to get back on the computer soon and check out what people have been saying about him... He also was amazed at how many people sent him cards, he has read them all and really appreciates it. As those of us who have met him, we know he is a pretty tough ole guy so I'm thinking he'll be back to "normal" soon.

It is still a pathetic winter. Supposed to be in the 40s by midweek. Only thing good about this storm was watching all the rich spoiled downstate kids crack their cars up trying to drive in it.
