the only two I have that aren't Orange! The 135 is the one I grew up on,tracked it down about 5 years ago and bought it back, the 35 belonged to my wife's grand-father

 John Deere 70 that me and my dad restored  my 1950 Farmall MD I bought this summer. It has an M & W Hand Clutch  1948 John Deere A that my Uncle gave to me because I got it running. I need to get it from Washington to Pennsylvania now. I don't have any picture of my Farmall 400 diesel or our Ford 6700 but I might post some later

I have no objection to having other colored tractors. One, they probably mean a lot to you - your Father's, your Grandfather's etc. - and they have a special place in your thoughts. Also, by restoring and keeping you are SAVING HISTORY! and for that I give you all my thinks.
In my mind tractor restoration is non denominational even though I love the Orange.

51 MD. I was the dumbest & luckiest guy at the sale, it wouldn't run, everybody but me knew they were notorious for having cracked heads and expected as much on this one. I ended up replacing the gear on the distrubutor with one from a WD45 and its run ever since. Bought it in January 08,finally got it started in March.

I'll bet most of us have one or two off colored tractors sitting around the farm.
I have two John Deere's one 4020 LPG and a 400 backhoe, use the 400 all the time the old 4020 just sits and weights for the power to go out it's the biggest tractor I have so its the stand by generator runner. I did put the 4020 in the barn after it sat outside for three years, It looks out of place sitting by all the Allis stuff in there. lol

Because everyone knows I am an avid Allis guy at work, a wise guy decided to put this on the back of my old truck one day. Other than a Massey Harris 81 tractor, I guess this is as off colored as I get!

Here is one of our "other" tractors. It's a 91 Ford 6610 II with dual power and 8x2 crash box behind it. I think the ford 10 series tractors are about as tough and easy to work on as they get for a more modern tractor (still made into the 2000s). Not much there for creature comforts, but they get the job done. This was a little before 2am in our farm shop after finishing replacing a throwout bearing and putting it back together by myself (not an easy job to do alone...).

Never saw a green White before. I said that out loud while looking at the photo, wife heard me and came over for a look and asked, "OK, I'll bite, what color are they supposed to be?" When I told her they were silver, she just rolled her eyes and said, "but of course," and walked off.

Don't have a picture of my ford yet. My sweet wife finally figured out its ALLIS, not Alice Chalmers....Still waiting for other folks to stop calling them Allis CHAMBERS.....{ That gets under my skin a little bit}

They made them like that for a couple years, you could get oliver green, minnie yellow, cockshutt red or white silver. You know agco, true to their roots... sorry, someone had to say it.

Someone needed to say it. AGCO could take a note or two from what White and AC did rather than going off in the opposite direction. Now about those green whites. I have a favorite one called the Spirit of Oliver. It was dedicated to the Oliver Corporation by White. Again, AGCO should have taken some notes here.    I'm going to have to get some pics of my off colored tractors and put them on here.

I guess this is sorta a tractor....a real work horse.
MM Jetstar II ...it has to go also...
Blue G made by John Blue Company....kinda has an AC connection. One of around 20 still in existence...I think it's a keeper.

Eldon, there is a guy who takes a restored Blue G to the Renfro Valley show. He has all the original manuals and papers for it. But he acted like the Blue G was a lot better than the AC G. I think the number left in existence tells that story.
