Ok if I’m following (and doing a horrible job explaining)

The “U” shape at the end of the adjustment arm , or yoke , needs to be up, with the lower assembly of that yoke turned around.

Mine is set up with that upper and lower assembly of the yoke allowing more space. I should be able to just spin em around

John, it's great that you have so much equipment to start with! We're starting from scratch. Sound a lot like us... farming like the 1950's! Good stuff :)

Thanks!! 1950s is right! It’s kinda been my dream to have a small classic style farm. Still very much a work in progress.

The CA and attachments was a lucky find! The gentleman had the 3 bottom laying in his yard and I asked him about it on my way home from work ... next thing you know we’re loading the plow PLUS the tractor and attachments. It was a great day that’s for sure

Welcome to another Wisconsinite!!
You are one lucky guy!! Cry  There are those of us who have been looking for a CA for a long time and you walk into not only the tractor but some almost impossible machinery to go with it!!  GREAT FIND!  (PS....you COULD/SHOULD go to jail for stealing this from that guy).  I'm not that far away up here in La Crosse, so if you're ever in the area (farm is actually closer to Black River) give me a shout and we can get together.

For SOME help, you can go here and get an idea how to do/fix things.
http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/PartsBooksN/login.aspx?region=NorthAmerica

Just sign in as a ' Guest '  put CA in for the Model and under all brands, put in AGCO Allis then hit search.  If you just put in C it'll show you a lot more.  Play around, it's a BIG help.

Over the years, farmers have done a lot of 'changing' of things on these old gals to make it work for them, so some things aren't quite right, but that's what happens in this old world of ours.

You're into the bunch of the best guys and gals in the world.  You'll have to go around meeting them too.  Next big meet is in Baraboo, May 3, 4, 5th.  http://www.badgersteamandgas.com/Club_events.htm

It's not just for Allis, but a GREAT show with lots of nice people and for you it's close to home.

Sorry for being so long winded, but

No way !?   Closer to Black river you say?  Where about -- I grew up / and the folks still live outside of Black River (Ettrick area)

Hi... I'm looking for some help putting together a set of cultivators on a CA. I need to know if anyone has  either a front lift shaft ram extension part number 324571 or how long it is center to center of the pins? My CA has a snap couplet system and parts book shows adapters for the rear furrowing bar to the lift "hands", are there any of those around?  Thanks in advance Al

Start you own thread and do it in the 'Classifieds' section.  You'll get a better response there.
