Menards Incident This Morning

I was in the local Menards browsing in the air tool/accessory section and saw/heard a customer and Menards "associate" talking in the center of the main isle about the covid mortality rate. Out of no where came an "un masked" shopper with smart phone in hand spouting "statistics" about 100 year old diseases and the "lack of protection" of the masks that are to be worn in public places. The A%^hole started preaching in the middle of the store about how the general public is no more than "sheep to the slaughter" pertaining to the mask mandate (INDIANA BTW) . I spoke up and told him to take his dribble to the A.L. Post and spew, which caught him a little off guard , but NOT as off guard as the 5 local police officers that escorted the blow hard out of the store  !! Some people just don't get it

our local Menards won't serve anyone that doesn't wear a mask in their stores. they do/will provide anyone with a mask that doesn't have one. same with the local HF stores.

I think the mask deal has ran its course. People just aren’t wearing them anymore.
We have a quarter million bikers here this weekend. I wonder if they all have one?

I'm to the point where 'they' should just go back to 'normal', open everything up, no masks, and well....let the strong survive... 'culling of the herd' deal. Don't know IF the economy will ever recover in this generation.

Wife belongs to local Eagles hall, No one here has gotten it there, been reopened three months.  All our bars, B&Bs, hotels, wineries and restaurants here are reopened with NO noted events.  

Speaking of Generalized conclusion, yours is no better.  Try asking of others not depicting the world as your own back yard.  All I noted was the Large Part of Mercantilism is FINE with no masks or Improper use of masks and STILL LOW Infection numbers, you cite a SINGLE episode Locally, I am stating NATIONWIDE as to Stores, Bars, Restaurants.  The numbers are VAGUE and NOT reported except in exaggerated conditions of 'Could Be' or 'Will Be Massive' when report of such events as Sturgis where LESS than 300 of those individuals that attended AND lived in Hot Spot cities came down with the virus with OVER a quarter mil in attendance.  Supposed to Get 260,000+ NEW Associated cases and got less than 300 TOTAL.

Problem in a bar is your screaming, yelling, half drunk and spitting droplets into the air that travel 15 ft.............. If your walking around Wal Mart and "normally" stay 6 ft apart and  NORMAL BREATHING, then the mask is doing nothing other than supporting the store RULE.

I have been wondering   what are criteria for when this Covid 19 is over?  Who determines it is over  the politicians or the medical community.   Covid is always going to be here  just like the regular flu .

It is a virus like all flu virus everybody sooner or later is going to be exposed to it,  not everybody is going to get sick from it.  We all know this is all BS to hurt Trump,  pure and simple BS to hurt Trump!  If Biden wins it will all majically disappear November 4th and if Trump wins it will continue for another 4 years.

It will end when Pres Trump is re-elected.
The whole Wuhan Virus is a concerted effort by Communist China, working hand in glove with the Democrats to defeat Pres Trump. Simple as that, end of story.

Screw off dickweed. I made no such conclusion. You bloviated about bars, and I shot you down with a fact, without leaving MY backyard, THEN said, for you it didn’t happen , here it does. That simple. Where did I come across as saying if you go to a bar you’ll get sick? You said bars no problem and I proved you wrong. Chances are, go to a bar and you could be fine, but it’s sure a helluva place to think is just fine.

No mention of “Hope the young man is ok. No mention of I hope your company handles it well so people can remain employed and help the economy. Nope. Just bloviate more because what’s in Missouri must be right.
