I was in the local Menards browsing in the air tool/accessory section and saw/heard a customer and Menards "associate" talking in the center of the main isle about the covid mortality rate. Out of no where came an "un masked" shopper with smart phone in hand spouting "statistics" about 100 year old diseases and the "lack of protection" of the masks that are to be worn in public places. The A%^hole started preaching in the middle of the store about how the general public is no more than "sheep to the slaughter" pertaining to the mask mandate (INDIANA BTW)  . I spoke up and told him to take his dribble to the A.L. Post and spew, which caught him a little off guard , but NOT as off guard as the 5 local police officers that escorted the blow hard out of the store  !! Some people just don't get it

I think the mask deal has ran its course. People just aren’t wearing them anymore. We have a quarter million bikers here this weekend. I wonder if they all have one? |

| WalMart has put a mandatory mask requirement up. Still see those people wear them in to pull them down on chin while shop, most have nose exposed so obviously is NOT a common area infection rate problem. The Med Staff I am party to state the people that brought the infections into the Nursing Centers and VA centers around here were the RESIDENTS, that had to go out for Chemo or Dialysis or similar time/services in the Hospitals where the infection resides, they in turn infected staff and other residents. Bars have been opened, Restaurants too with One or Two per THOUSANDS infection rates, Has NOT been nor will it be a General population carried infection, this is the Scam. |

I'm to the point where 'they' should just go back to 'normal', open everything up, no masks, and well....let the strong survive... 'culling of the herd' deal. Bars....where people sit close together, get drunk and get louder with every drink, not a problem eh? Local Eagles, 3 bartender/ waitress had it. Not sure the total of patrons yet, but in a week that little excursion has closed the courthouse, and has brought Covid to our company. Two of our geniuses got it at the Eagles and brought it to work and infected a 25 year old who has in turn gotten his wife sick. Of the 3 people at work, unfortunately the young guy is the sickest, not feeling well at all. |

| Wife belongs to local Eagles hall, No one here has gotten it there, been reopened three months. All our bars, B&Bs, hotels, wineries and restaurants here are reopened with NO noted events. |

Big deal. So it didn’t happen there. It did happen here. But somehow what happened in your area qualifies you to make a generalized conclusion. Whereas, I am not saying it will happen in all bars, but it can and has happened. Many other outbreaks from bars in Michigan, and they aren’t even “all the way “ open yet. |

All I noted was the Large Part of Mercantilism is FINE with no masks or Improper use of masks and STILL LOW Infection numbers, you cite a SINGLE episode Locally, I am stating NATIONWIDE as to Stores, Bars, Restaurants. The numbers are VAGUE and NOT reported except in exaggerated conditions of 'Could Be' or 'Will Be Massive' when report of such events as Sturgis where LESS than 300 of those individuals that attended AND lived in Hot Spot cities came down with the virus with OVER a quarter mil in attendance. Supposed to Get 260,000+ NEW Associated cases and got less than 300 TOTAL. |

Problem in a bar is your screaming, yelling, half drunk and spitting droplets into the air that travel 15 ft.............. If your walking around Wal Mart and "normally" stay 6 ft apart and NORMAL BREATHING, then the mask is doing nothing other than supporting the store RULE. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

I'm in a city of 500,000+ and don't know of anyone directly or anyone who knows anyone that has Covid-19. I wear a mask where required, because I don't like controversy. Do I think that they do any good....? Well, probably about as much good as putting up a chain link fence around your yard to keep mosquitos out. I think that it's hard to imagine just how small a virus is. If you looked at mask cloth under a microscope, it would probably look like a chain link fence, and a virus under the same amount of magnification, would look like the mosquito. But that's just my opinion. Darrel |

Where did I come across as saying if you go to a bar you’ll get sick? You said bars no problem and I proved you wrong.
