Yours not repairable ?? That is kind of an odd Zenith model carb and hard to find some parts for.

A carb from an AC 175 tractor would work and bolt right on, even tho it is a Marvel Schebler brand. I think I could make one work from a Deere 2510 or 2520, as they sit on the engine pointed the same direction as the Allis does.

Just my personal opinion but I’d rather have the Marvel-Schebler carb. I don’t think they are as “persnickety” as a Zenith.

It's the color tractor my grandpa had!

I agree, Sparky. I like cast iron carbs.

According to my book, it should have a 13294 Zenith on it. The 175/180 used a Marvel TSX 928 on them.  We offer rebuilding services on the one you have if interested. I agree also on the Marvel......

170's were always Zenith. 175's were always Marvel. 180's were Zenith and 190's were Holley in the beginning and then Bendix later on.  All of them had the air inlet facing the radiator. Some in the aftermarket world (Steiners/All-States) for example will sell you a carb listed to fit a 170 or 175, but also fits a WD45 or D-17.  They are not the same carb and unless there is choke and throttle linkage that are ambidextrous, there is no way they can or will work, but they are advertised to fit and work.

I agree with that the marvel is the better of the two. Thanks for the information.

What model m/s did you use? Was there a noticeable difference? How much are you asking for the zenith?
