7060 hydraulic leak

On the very top of the rear of the powershift transmission in my tractor there is a steel line that goes from there down around and rear to the hydraulic center of things between the lift arms, I can get a wrench on both ends. The line supplys the fluid to raise and lower the lift arms. Leak is at the transmission top union fitting. Leak comes from around the sleeve that goes into the nut of the steel line. I've replaced the rubber O ring on the union fitting and am confident its not leaking there. I've used my 60x maginifer and cannot see a crack in the female flare of the steel line. . Iam asking what are the odds of the union male is the problem, AGCO part # 70923080. Or #2 give up and make a rubber line? What is the PSI here? Thanks for any help.

From zero psi to 2500 psi. With nothing hanging on the 3pt hitch it will be near zero psi. With the hitch fully raised and nothing on it, the number should still be near zero. The hitch shall NOT be adjusted to come up 100% !!!! So, if you have a leak with the hitch fully raised and then the leak subsides when let down a few inches, it is a pressure leak and probably the flare on the line. Make a hose and I always go around the left side instead of the way they routed it.

You don't need a shop manual to verify if the hitch is coming up 99% or 101%.   Engine running and hitch fully up, you should be able to (with a strong back) lift on the hitch and make the upper lift arms go "up" another inch or two. That would be correctly adjusted.

I came around the left side and around the back. Easier to route and takes a 90 degree on each end. I've also had several 3pt hitch corn planters with lift assist wheels over the years. Making this hose allowed me to place a TEE in it somewhere with a hydraulic hose connection so the lift assist wheels could be plugged into. Thus pull on the 3pt lever in the cab and the lift assist wheels will work in harmony with the 3pt hitch arms.

Got the new line fished into place so backed her out and washed down again. Tested out on the hill drive i have no drips.
Next up. Decided to remove the auxiliary fuel tank. Don't need that extra fuel for what iam doing and the crossover looks about to snap and I want to see what's behind there to clean and insepct. Came out easy enough. What a sludge pit behind the tank. It had that hydraulic line leaking for awhile. Fuel line up to filter looks OK but might as well change that 1/2 "line while drained. What a octopus conglomeration at the electric fuel pump/primary filter aera. Line going from filter to electric pump to is so kincked and deteriorated/oozing surprises me the engine even runs.
Ow well, looked online and can buy what ever length of fuel line ya want but I dont trust it. So back to a different dealer today,apparently John Deer doesn't use a 1/2 fuel line, I asked yesterday while getting the hydraulic line and no 1/2 fuel line there, or Autozone or Advance. My Massey guy or NAPA then.
