    Posted: 12 Apr 2024 at 8:26am
Hi,

i have an old i600 forklift that is stuck in reverse. the piece on the clutch that connects to the lever to move it in and out of gear has come off the clutch assembly.

i was wondering if i can just shave the piece down so it tightens back on or if that would work at all. or does it need a whole new shuttle clutch housing/assembly?

this is not my picture since i didnt have any currently on my phone. just one i found. but the piece circled is what i am referring to. Thanks!

You'll need a new brass collar for sure and possibly the steel piece underneath it.

Probably the best you can hope for are good used parts from any farm tractor. D-14-15-17-19. I doubt very much anything new is available anymore. Lots of salvage yards around the country.
