OK I got the blasted thing off,, going to have it checked in the morning.. My issue is putting the thing back on. How in heaven do you get the bolt and nut back in in the front near the radiator? Man how did they do it in the first place? no room and can hardly fit a wrench under the generator and not enough room in front to move the socket took me an our to get it off.. Just my rant for tought to get nuts and bolts!!

Ive been there done that, and i know that isnt fun, and i did mine well it was like 5 degrees outside, and freezing my fingers, it isnt easy in the warmth either.

Front bolt isn't a bolt....it's a plug/pin that is bolted to the gen ear and slides into the bracket hole. One bolt and nut on the rear.

mine had 2 bolts on it, but mine was changed once upon a time.
