I am currently restoring An Allis G. I am in the process of replacing the oil pump and noticed that there are two types of gaskets. One has the cut out for the oil ports and the other has the gasket material around the oil ports. The tractor service manual shows the one with the gasket cut out around ports installed but the manual that come with the oil pump has the one with the gasket around the ports installed. help im confused

You should be able to download a service manual here.

I have an Allis G B C and CA shop manual on line at: http://www.geraldj.networkiowa.com/Trees/Allis-Chalmers-G-B-C-CA-Service.pdf
It is an 11 mb download. I do have a Continental manual in paper in my library. I suspect the oil pump gaskets depend on the details of the buyer of the engine whether Massey Pony, Allis G or other uses. The blocks of the Pony and the Allis don't interchange. But most all the other parts do. The gasket may also depend on when the engine was made. Gerald J. |

Perhaps I don't understand your question.
Page G-19 in your manual has a picture of the oil pump breakdown showing the gaskets. Beyond that, I can't help. New to the G myself. |

Anything I have shows the same sequence of parts.
Gasket #8 against the block, Cover #7, Gasket #6 and and Body #14. |
