I have what I believe is an AC G mower sickle blade that's been setting around for awhile that I would like to sell and was wondering if there are any experts out there that could confirm whether it is a G sickle mower blade or not? I downloaded photos of it.

Some measurements are: Ball measures 1 3/8" across, on hole to hole to side. Ball has 1/4" hole through it. Plate, ball is on measures 3 13/16" wide. Length 5' 4". Has 20 3" sections. Has 315540 on knifehead on top, 6" from ball.

Thanks.

If I recall all sickle blades were the same for all Allis Chalmers ball type blades.
If the size - 5' 6' 7' - was the same they were interchangeable.  Course the G only had a 5' blade.
Good Luck!

I called a tractor dealer and found indeed that it is a model G sickle blade. If a person puts a 70 in front of the number (which is common for the older parts) on the sickle head, the number is found.

So now I will try to sell it.
