Thanks for the pics of the front mounted pump; I've got a nice front mount pump that came off an IB that I think I can put on my D-17 using your method.

Picture of 1962 D19 I got a few months ago. Lot better that when I got it. Loader PTO pump is gone and installed a front mount pump to free up PTO. Now just need 3 point.

I have alot of pictures but only some many that are digital. Gotta do some scanning. Here's some of what I have. Missing is my D19, My dad's D17, my brothers 58 D17 and his D14. My rusty but trusty D17 that has taken a lot of pulling trophies over the years. A cousin's D17 Series IV original paint My one brother's D17 with my then 12 year old daughter at the wheel and my then 5 year old and 8 year old with me on the rack. Summer of 2009 Brother's D17 again combining I think in 2008 My uncle's D21 Series II (hope he doesn't mind my posting his photo) tractor caravan 2009 Thought it was original paint .... picture looks better than in person. His D15 and one son in the background.
My uncle's D15 in 2009 |

First is our 1958 D-17 which we restored in 2007. 2nd is our 1957 D-14. Both of these tractors belonged to my Dad's uncle over the years. And last is one of the ugliest D-19's you'll ever see. Was used by my uncle for over 20 years as a loader tractor.

D12 SIII with range tranny and 3pt....now has an Allied 300 hydraulic loader on it.
D14 that I use alot....never new it could be so handy.
D14 I parted out...previous owner had broke it in half by not supporting loader to rear end.
D14 I have for sale....no power steering.
D15 SII with optional narrow wide front, rear wheel spacers, 28" rubber and factory 3pt.
D17's....Series one single front
Series I diesel
Series I gas
Series IV diesel hi clearance (first pic) converted to regular working tractor.
D17D parts tractor....had 38" rears and RC fronts!
My first AC tractor, a D17 SI bought in MI and overhauled...sold it when we moved.
My first working tractor out here, a D17 gas that I put a few hours on...traded it for a WD45D
D19TD that I bought years ago, sold to a guy in NY state and bought it back at the GOTO in Canandaigua. I have another D19TD that I can't find a pic of, it has the optional front pump to give it live hydraulics.

Since you're on the subject of the D series.....can anyone tell me what year D15 had aluminum AC plates on the hood sides instead of decals? We had a D15D when I was growing up and I want one but dont know year, or series.

Need to add a Series I D12 to the group. It was really sorry when I brought it home. Went thru everything; engine, brakes, finals, and electrical. It is now with a new owner in Nebraska as I don't have much work for it. |
