ok some are gonna say iam nuts  LOL but iam used to that my question is would a 7000 series cab fit on a 200 I missed a 8000 cab that woulda been nice but we have several 7000 cabs in the bone yard  I no there is no mounts, I can make those, the ac isn't a problem a 200 is side console already so controls aren't a problem  only reason not to go with a bigger tractor is its primary use is hay so we want to stay with the 301 just thinking out loud

do away with the two lower windows that are always so dirty you cant see through them anyway  and let the tank be the back like a year go round

Don't do that. Just get a fuel tank off of a 7000.

I put a 7000 canapy rops on my 190. Cut back out to fit over fuel tank. I think it should fit pretty good with some work.   MACK

8000 cab would be impossible to fit.  The steering wheel and dash are part of the cab, just like a firewall.

Dad put a 7000 cab on his 190 back in the late 70's. Allis was clearing out the old Accousta cabs because they started using the Accousta II cabs. There were 6 brand new cabs at a local auction and Dad bought one for $600. He wasn't very fussy how he mounted it. Used heavy rubber or rubberized canvas flaps to cover gaps at the front area around the dash and hood. He used the large end of rubber milker inflation cups stacked as isolation mounts. Moved the fuel tank back a few inches. Cut part of the back lower panel off the cab to make room for the fuel tank. It didn't look too bad and he always said it was a whole lot better than a heat houser. Wiper, lights and fan blower all worked when he was finished.

I'd use a 7000 fuel tank, too. I'd assume that would cut down on vibration by a lot.
