You need an "Open Center-Power Beyond" type of joystick valve capable of 2,500 psi. There's two steel lines directly under the battery box area. Split the larger of the two lines at the connector point. Make two (2500 psi)hoses to go from the new joystick valve down to these two connection points. The line that directly connects to the tractor hydraulic pump goes to the "IN" on your new valve. The "OUT" on your new valve goes back to the remaining line. There is an important 3rd port on the new joystick valve that must go back to the hydraulic system sump to relieve any pressures that need to be vented. I hate to route this third line to the sump drain plug underneath for location reasons and I have seen the internal suction screen damaged from this type of configuration. Best advice is connect it elsewhere like tap into the return line after the hydraulic filter.

make sure your hyd lines are not restrictive - we have seen 1/2 hos fittings restrict down at swedge fitting to heat oil. We use 5/8" ID hose minimum.
