The four speed transmission (if it is the STANDARD tranny) is the same as a D21. Top shaft is 24 teeth-28 teeth- 34 teeth-38 teeth.....Countershaft is 42 teeth- 38 teeth- 32 teeth-24 teeth from front to rear on all gears. Ratios are 1 to 1 in 4th gear, 1.29 to 1 in third gear, 1.86 to 1 in second gear and 2.77 to 1 in first gear.  Ring and pinion is 10 teeth to 37 teeth for 3.70 to 1 ratio. Unfortunately I can't tell you what the final drive ratio is because the Service manual or Parts books don't say. The actual ground speeds with the same tire and RPM's wind up being the same as a D21 tractor even tho the 210-220 have one more tooth (10 and 37) on the R&P pinion gear than a D21 (9 and 37). They sped up the R&P 10% and then slowed it back down in the final drives for the same ground speeds.

Finals are 6.69? Can't remember the exact #. It is in my service manual. 5th gear (std) is in the 50:1 area, Slow 1st/5th is 73:1 area. 6th is 45:1, and 7th is 31:1, then 8th is 24:1. These are approximate, my sheets are out in the shop, and I'm too lazy! Lol!

You'd be keerect Ed!!...I looked at an Owners manual this morning and it doesn't give an actual tooth count, but the finals are 6.69 to 1 ratio. So, the tooth count must be 15 to 100?? or 16 to 107??...if someone has one apart, I'd like to know so I can write it in my Service manual.

yes, most 210's either have "slow first & fifth", and a few (mine included) have the "fast low range" .
