Bought a really nice 185 last spring, very pleased with it so far. Tractor had a loader on it, but was not on it when we bought it. Found a 460 allis loader that was removed from a 6080 and guy that sold it to us, assured with alittle modification, it would fit. Know we will have to make brackets for the axles, using U-bolts. Concerned about the spacing. We measured a 6080, looks like we need to add 1/2" spacer on each side. Any suggestions on mounting this loader. Tractor has a cab.

Make sure you have heavy tubing or heavy angle iron go under the rear axle so you don't break the tractor in half.....been there.

Thanks for all of the info. I will have to drill that new hole in the frame. Will you be leaving the wrap around weight on the front. Also, do we need to put 1/2" spacers on each side of the frame to spread the loader out. The 6080 that I measured was 1" wider then our 185. Nothing like a good project.
