Not much to pick from. Allis-Chalmers and John Deere are the only brands of tractors that exist.(In my eyes anyway, lol).

The New Hollands are uglier than a mud fence, but I would have to lean that way or toward a Buhler Versatile. I could continue my relationship with my current dealer.
If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

I would say proabably an oliver. We live about 10 minutes away from where they made alot of the old olivers so i find them to be a really neat tractor.

For me I would say the old (mid 60's to mid 70's) large Fords 8000, 8600, 9600. If it was older than that would be the Olivers

15 allis chalmers tractors

9 lanz bulldog tractors

2 water cooled deutz

14 Aus made orange chamberlains

I spent most of my money on old tractors I wasted the rest

New Holland is the best bang for your buck at least in the 90+ hp range and will soon be in the 70+ range when they come out with their new model.

Best farm equipment line of the old days, IMO, was Oliver/White with Allis right up there.

It'll be used, I'll replace the 8070 with either an orange AGCO or a CaseIH. Good AGCO dealer that most of our AC's came from over the years and a good CaseIH dealer about a mile away.

I've also had  Green ones for 30 years. Half of any machine be it tractor, vehicles , or construction equipment is your dealer and support.
