I would prefer to call it the unloader tube "swivel". You can go as new as an R-42/52 up to about 1993 ?? If you'd find a combine that had been in an engine fire.

I was told that fitment may follow into the R series. I am aware of where there is an R5 and was going to check it out.. Some opinions are it was a little more than a simple swap? Thanks for the confirmation. Dale

R5 wont fit a N. Completely heavier swivel on it plus eliminated the chain. They should of just implemented it on all machines when it was introduced.

Small frame R-40/42 or R-50/52 prior to 1993 same as an N-series.

OK...Don't go look at the R5...I have a lead on one from an R52 that is included in the serial # sequence. Anyone remember the size of the bearings? about 128/130 needed? Anyone used the plastic aftermarket ring? Thanks for jumping in and helping out...

I don't think the plastic after-market design will run as many years as the ball bearing design, but I don't know that for sure. Are you wanting to replace all the ball bearings just because ?? If you do, there should be a space of about 1 full ball when done. Do not fill the track clear full. 1/2" diameter balls I think. If I was going to go to that extreme, I'd rotate the inner ring 180 degrees to get at least half of the ball track moved around. This will require cutting off one of the studs and welding on a new stud to get it to fit back onto the tank outlet.
