I'm trying to find the 3 point arm lift capacity of a D17. I am looking at a no till drill that weighs around 2500lbs.

So, you have an after-market 3-point hitch, which won't lift as much as a factory 3-point on a series 4 tractor.

If you have a Saginaw three point, it will lift as much as a factory. It mounts the same as a factory does, and it's as heavy duty as a factory one, possibly more.
As far as lift capacity, I don't think a D17 will lift that much weight. If it does, you'll need to add some weight to the front end.
There is no information on that number in my data book.

A drill sets back of the tractor right much,I can't see a D17handling one that weighs 2500lb.

I responded in the other thread... I've had some 2000+ lb loads close to the face on my 3-point... and based on how it handled that load, a 2500lb grain drill would not be manageable on a Series 1, even with lots of counterweight. It would be able to lift it, but you would be upon it's limits so much, that you would NOT be able to operate it in the field with any efficiency.

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

The heaviest mounted plow A-C made was the 80 series 4 bottom, which weighed 1400 lbs. Your 2500 lb drill might be closer to the rear wheels, which would help, but I still think it would take an S4 factory 3 point and a lot of front end weights to get that much lift accomplished.
