I put a new fan motor fan in my 7060 from Shoup and it fit great. But it came with 3 wires and a ground and my old fan only had 2 wires. Would the third wire be for a 3 speed switch? I hooked the wires by color and the fan works, just was wondering. No instructions with it.
Thanks, Randy

Some tractors had a 3-speed switch.

They used 2 different motor and switch combinations on the 7080. Later ones, SN 3524 on, used a resistor. There is also a different switch and harness 3101-3523. You would need a wiring diagram to see the correct hookup.
