As it says, I have a d15 that leaks ps fluid. I've added fluid a lot lately but it always reverts back to 'manual steering mode'. I cant find where its leaking on the ground, is there a way it could be leaking internally? Where should I start looking?

It's either leaking on the ground or the engine is waaay overfull on oil. Never seen one leak into the engine, so you're on your own.

Or are you implying i may be accidentally overfilling the engine? I'm not, but I dont mind the question.

Hi Trevorno.
When was the last time that you checked your engine oil dipstick? Like Doc, I haven't heard of power steering fluid leaking into the engine. |

I checked it two days ago. It was a little overfull. I just fixed a stuck carb float so I think it's gas that's causing it to be too full. I need to change the oil anyway.

Look under the front of the tractor to see any fresh oil leaking. Clean up any dirty areas first if need be. Doubtful that it would leak into the engine. Also check the lines, some might be loose.

When you go to fill it up next time, use brake fluid. If it's just o-rings that's gotten hard the brake fluid will soften them and there's a good chance they'll soften up and swell and stop leaking. Try dropping an o-ring into some brake fluid and watch it swell up over a few days time.
