Hooking things up on the UC just to find out that the generator will not be genning any more. My man in town tells me that it is going to need a new one. When he hooked it up, he said it smelled funny and was hot to the touch. Just wondering if anyone might have one.

Talked to my man a second time, and he said the fuse and the field may be all that I need. I hope.

Thanks guys for the referrals! Its appreciated!  I've done some Gennies over that were pretty much toast, but was able to bring em' back like new again. Some patients were not cheap to repair, but sometimes you don't have much to pick from for cores. It can be done on some. Drop me a line or give me a call. If you want to send it out, I'd be happy to look at it for you to see if we can save it. All you would have in it is the shipping.. Your call.
