i am overhauling my d14. when i was tearing down this fell out of the camshaft. problem is i dont know when end it came out of or what it is. can anyone help me out???

Well, I can't see anything in the parts book that looks like it ! What are the 'ballpark' dimensions...that might help ...

Looks like it is from the oil pump.
Never take life too seriously.

Nobody gets out alive anyway!

Looks like it might be the coupler from the end of the Oil Pump Shaft.
 
The Open Ended Slots slip over a pin in the rear of the Camshaft.
 
DickL will know for sure.
