Anyone with a Cross MFG drawbar mounted 3 point conversion willing to supply a couple measurements? I'm specifically looking for;
1. The length of the bracket that bolts to the drawbar 2. The center-to-center length between the 2 bolt holes on that same bracket 3. The width of the angle iron that the pins are welded to on that lower bracket I'd like to weld one up that has a little more reinforcement around the pins and plan to order the arms to go on it so I don't have to swap back and forth between the drawbar and Cross' light duty 3 point adapter. Here's a link to the part I'm looking for measurements on: https://www.oktractor.com/osc/cross-mfg-combo-mainframe-bracket Thank you! Edited by Clayfoot - 28 May 2026 at 8:54am |

Is your's a homemade adapter? The Cross MFG bracket bolts to the factory drawbar that connects to the snap coupler.

Which series? I can get you the dimensions for a series IV but the conversions for the earlier series’ were different.

The one that's linked in the original post. For the D14, D15, and D17 drawbars. Doesn't matter the series. It's the bracket that bolts to the snap coupler drawbar itself, not the bail.
If you click on the link in my original post, and you have that bracket on yours, that's what I need the measurements from.
I emailed them, but I have yet to hear anything back. Edited by Clayfoot - 30 May 2026 at 8:27am |

Didn't the D17 Series IV come with a factory 3 point? I've seen these on so many small coupler tractors that it's hard to believe that none of the people that own any of those are members here. Unfortunately, I just don't get to see any of those in person. |

D17 IV was able to be ordered with either snap coupler or 3 point.

I see. That would be a bit of a rare option, I'd imagine.

The only dimension I can give is the 16 1/2 inches that the angle iron is in length. Personally I would make it
more like 18 or maybe even 19 1/2 like the width of the drawbar bail. For using a bale fork, you have to hit dead on or one of the arms always seems to end up under the bail. And use actual caegory 1 pins. Cold rolled shaft bends too easy. This is from a guy who uses a D17 almost daily. |

Thank you! I will indeed be using actual cat 1 pins and reinforcing that area as well. Could you possibly get the measurement for the length of the flat bar the angle is welded to and the bolt hole spacing? I have the arms on the way and I just want to make sure I get the location correct on the bracket to avoid shorting myself. I'll probably make that piece closer to 20-21" wide since I have some cat 0 carry over implements and my drawbar bale already has flat bar welded to it as sway stops. Center to center is 14 inches on the holes.
