I have a late model WF D-15. It turns tighter to the right than the left. Under the center front is what I would call the driving arm (Arm from gearbox that pushes the tie rods) This arm looks to be splined but it also has a roll pin through it. It will hit the casting on one side when turned all the way but lacks about an inch on the other side. Does anyone know if that arm is splined and/or roll pinned? It looks like someone in the past put it back together and got it off a notch or two. Is this an easy fix? Also do all D-15's peel the grass up when turning. Mine is like a damn disk when you turn it. Can that be adjusted out? I would like to use it around my farm but everywhere I turn it rips up the dirt out on the outside wheel. Thanks!

Position that steering arm dead center. Now, loosen the tie rod clamps and center the front wheels.....I'll bet they are not pointing straight ahead. I'd guess someone has the tie rods unequal in length. Toe-in is measured at spindle height of the front tires and is usually 1/8" to 1/4" narrower at the front than the rear.

If you want to turn short with a wide front, step on the brake to the side your turning to.
