Flywheel. Crankshaft pulley and external thrust bearing. Depending on the age (orange paint is older 1978-79 model) the exhaust manifold AND turbocharger. Front engine plate and timing cover and hydraulic pump drive (requires pulling the camshaft and oil pan). Probably the injection pump and maybe the injector lines (again age makes a difference). Oil fill neck and oil level dipstick. I think that's it but may be more.

I did the swap years ago and engine is still going strong today. do the injection pump for sure as the torque curve is all wrong and you will hate it. the backplate may need to be changed too.  The oil pan and intercooler may be different too..... best part is now you have a parts engine that may have some usable parts like the balancer cam etc. the relay and glowplugs might be located in a different place too.  i would locktite every bolt. fuel filter is different too..... check your clutch and pto clutch and release bearing while your there..... and rear and front seal.... good luck.    you just saved alot of money! a new massey 101 hp is 70000$ and only 75hp!

I own four 6080 fwa's and they are great tractors .  you can get a LUK clutch kit for a great price from fawcett tractor in st marys ontario. way cheaper than anywhere i have seen  have put 2 in 2 6080's and one more to do soon....

You will need the front bearing support -
IF your 6080 is the latest model it will not have the 'kit'.
Late 4.33 had a double wide thrust brg and corresponding grind of the crank thrust area.
Early engine did not and the HD clutch pushed the crank through the thrust bearing surface in short order. No issue on any other application.
When told "it's not the money,it's the principle", remember, it's always the money..

Which means, if it has the ORIGINAL engine in it, was equipped with an improved internal thrust bearing and crankshaft thrust face. This 1978 F-2 combine engine doesn't have that, so you should install the "field fix" external bearing to prevent catastrophic failure.

I agree with thrust bearing idea on front of crank, i got one late model 6080 (engine blown) with the center block internal thrust bearing that had worn thru into the block! (no front bearing) always keep the pto lever forward.  If your front driveshaft is out raise the front axle and check bushing play they my need replacement. otherwise your fwa axle stub shaft will wear funny. nla from agco.  If you need a new driveshaft coupler they are available for less than half of what agco charges from alltractorparts.ca  item 4994076. Good to change if any wear and pump some good quality grease inside.  when i change my oil every 50hrs I take this apart to clean regrease and inspect, splines last better this way.
