OK guys I am NOT the sharpest knife in the drawer and it really shows; I am attempting to install the seat assembly since new bushings and prime and paint. I thought I removed and reinstalled correctly but it appears I maybe misplaced a half inch 7 inch long pin?? The pin in pics behind the top of shock has 2 grooves for the 2 springs and I know that goes in top holes of seat bracket that bolts into fuel tank and into floor. But if I move that to the above mentioned holes then I must need a pin to where the grooved pin is now? Or does where the grooved pin is now hook to another pin that's already there somewheres? Hey, anyone have a pic? Owners Man doesn't show much and I forgot lol to take a pic! Oh my...
By the way my new K&M 201 Comfort Classic is the nicest seat I have ever had on any machine! Thanks, Dana |

My parts book shows the rod with the grooves going in the 2 holes in the support assembly (frame). It also looks like you have assembly with the wheel on backwards, book shows wheels in front, and it is that way on mine. front end of spring goes on the latch. At least that's the way mine is and the way the book shows.
