Ever have one of them projects that go stagnant on you....? Well that was my XT. When my son was running it last summer. The wishbone rear pivot plate bolts had all come loose and fallen out, some PO weld on the wishbone broke, and put a good twist on the wishbone. Bolt holes into the bell housing were all messed up. PO had left trails of improper prior repair previously there also. I thought that I was going to have to split the tractor to get a good fix on the bolt holes, and didn't think that there was much hope for fixing the wishbone either. Thought finding a good used one was going to have to happen. And then with working off the farm now, my time is scarce. Somehow, over the last couple weeks, I managed to get all four of the bolt holes tapped out to take 9/16 NC bolts, and got the pivot plate bolted back up to the bell housing using 9/16 grade 8 bolts and loc-tite. Then the best part, IM4Racing (user name on here of friend from Garrison ND) and his buddy Cade (a good welder) came down yesterday, and with much grinding twisting and welding, got the wishbone looking like new again. Had my "new to me" allis generator going behind the D19 to run the welder and grinders, and make it a little more of an allis day. Definitely a day I needed. Anyway, it's great to have my XT useable again. Much thanks to Robert and Cade! You guys are great! Darrel

Congrats! Really is a good feeling when something that has been down for awhile gets back in working order.

I've got to get the skid steer going and get my dump truck turned into a dump trailer before we can clean out the shed. If we get the shed clean, I'll gladly store the snow machine for you.....Darrel
