Seen a decent 5020 with a decent belly mower on Ebay with a starting bid of $1800- in PA ; but seems like a good deal and cheap enough

I have a customer that has a 5015 with trans issue that he's not sure he wants to fix. Will talk to him ,if anything  comes out of it I will let u know ,Complete mower is still on tractor .
He who dies with the most toys is,
nonetheless ,still dead.
If all else fails ,Read all that is PRINTED.
Just because you do not have the tools for job , it dose not make it a bad design.
