I know it is the wrong color, but this is the latest project out of our shop. restored inside and out! factory 1066 turbo setup from troy in Chatfield, MN it was a lot of work!  This is the tractor that was in the background, on our pics of the 7030 open station.

I always thought those style IHs had that "mean" look about them; something like the D-21s.
A real nice restoration!!

What changed from a 56 series to the 66?  Neighbors had 656, 756, 856 and 1466.  Always liked driving the 756 open station narrow front, but it sure was noisy compared to our 185.

Most of the guys around us with time proven equipment use 966 or 1066 IH units, great tractors and this one shows its colors well.  Nice AC plow behind the old girl to boot!

Wow, what a sweetheart!

Gotta say, I am orange 95%, that last 5% probably would go to that style of IH tractors. Farmed with a 1256 for one summer, power like you wouldn't believe!

Nice job Chris.   Is that one gonna earn it's keep yet, or is it just for show?

If it is the tax guy asking, I'll guess it is a working tractor yet.
Very nice looking tractor. I love my orange tractors, but I have a soft spot for the IH red, too.

If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done!

The tractor is on the manure spreader right now, it will get washed more often though.
