Been busy, too busy at work to get back to the donor but managed some time off.
Started back in on the trans today, confirmed the shift seals hold on air and shift the drums in the case, then cleaned off the old gaskets and red glue at the mount head, the lower suction strainer and the main strainer, what a mess, they need to ban the ability of some people to buy silicone sealants, no need for a full tube to reseal a 6" circular gasket 1" wide or as the main case gasket, appears they were using a caulking gun to apply red glue, in some areas it had mushroomed into the case by 1/2", just ignorant. Lower strainer was pretty well clean, some red glue deposits but not too bad, then I pulled the main, not the chia pet I had seen before but: Was pretty well loaded with congealed red glue droplets, rust chunks and dirt, good time to get it cleaned.
