ANOTHER project finally completed. Got the cabinet front and drawers all done on my Bar install. Shelving done for now, do have to add drawer liner but in all the majority of work is DONE.
A little sentimentality is in the work, I wanted a industrial look to my little project, I projected my history as mechanic into it from the large equipment crates and steel shipping frames I had worked around all those years. A little piece of history that no one but I or someone that has been in my industries will recognize but there it sits.

All kidding aside, it looks GREAT Dave!
I like having a drawer on the piece in front of the sink. Instead of just a dummy panel, it slides outward a little (has a stop built in) and I put my most used small stuff in it. Just an idea, it's easy to do and doesn't take much time. |

We have a side shelf to the left of the sink, access is available due to not having any interferences thru the door and nothing hanging down, had given consideration to adding a swing down or pivot drawer there before opted for the full door. |

That's some fantastic handywork, Dave! ![]() Over the last year, my indoor project has been removing the chimney from top to bottom, which includes replacing the entire interior of my daughter's closet, and doing a temporary refinishing of that corner of the kitchen... and I finished all that just before Thanksgiving. I'd post pictures of my work for 'yall to see, but the forum says my prior project pictures have reached the limit of my photo space, so I can't. :-\ |

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

Hey Joe!
Believe it or not the fronts are nothing but yellow pine boards, the bar itself is Sugar Maple and the countertop is left over Ash flooring. |
