A guy not far from me has a Woods L59 mower he took off of a B that he'll make me a good deal on. Comes with all the brackets off the B.
I'd like to use it on my CA. Will the brackets off the B work to mount the mower on the CA or will I have to get new ones? Thanks. |

Bill, A CA has a wider distance between the finals. You will need to lengthen or replace that mount. I think everything else should work. Here is a link to the manuals on the Woods site to double check. The ones you want are "L59CA, L306CA" and "L59 AC B&C..."

Depending on which style mounting brackets he has, it may or may not work. I know there are some mounting brackets are interchangeable with the B and C, but I'm not sure about the CA. Better check the measurements on them first. Some are adjustable, others are not.

I have an L59 that has a 3 part adjustable bracket for the "push bar" . Either end has a flange that bolts to the finals, and the center piece has the idler pulleys and connects the 2 outside pieces together. This is a factory set up from Woods. I used it on the 51 CA until 3 years ago, and now have it on my 38 B. If the "push bar" is one piece it will not swap out.
