Have been told by some that only a cab for the 170/175's will work on a 170.  Others say any cab for the 170's thru 190 will work.  Does anyone know for sure?  Thank you Jon

170 or 175 are the same and a 180-185-190 sure will NOT fit.  Your tractor is a utility profile that sits very low and a cab will be difficult to find....not many of this model ever got a cab.

Will a 170 cab fit a series 1 D17?
Or what cab can you put on a D17?
Thanks!

Here is my 175 when I bought it, sold the cab to Bruce in NC, but you might be able to blow up the pic to see the brand.

I also bought a 175 with a cab from a 180 on it, so you can get them to fit, just takes some work. They cut up the fenders to fill in areas....and the seat had to be modified...but it worked for years for the previous owners. I took it off and sold it to a guy with a 180.

I put a 180 cab on my 170. It does take quite a bit of work, but it works pretty good.

our 185 had an ansel cab on it.    actually the only complaint is every once in awhile the 3pt would brake out the back window.  AC worked well and was actually quiet.   but then it was a new tractor with a new cab.
AC from the start of my families farming career till the end!
