My little D15 SIII is knee deep in rubber ready for the local tractor ride tomorrow. I made use of the worn 18.4 x 28 tires from my 175D....removed about 80 gallons of CaCl from each one. I'd hate to try to stop or start out with that much extra weight! This should make a nice little cruiser...I'm thinking she will move in excess of 20 mph down the road, probably a couple mph faster with a little more air in the tires.
This tractor has the optional narrow wide front...kinda magnifies the big rears.

That looks cool, I tried to tell dad that the tractor needed 16.9x28 tires when he restored it to give it a beefy look like yours.We are going the opposite direction. We are putting 12.4x38 on our Series II to see if it will pull better.

Tough looker, lol. You should move right down the road, my 15II does about 17 by the tach with 26s. you should pick up on that all right.

Are the hydraulic controls on the left side inside the fenders with the series II factory three point? I've seen different setups and just wondered?

Dave I have owned two of them and they both had the optional triple valves on the left side plus the controls by the steering wheel. I'd assume the standard was just the controls by the steering wheel and maybe a single remote on the left rear.

My series II D-15 Hi Clearance with 38" rice tires goes down the road at a pretty good clip. You can move along at an idle in a caravan, especially if there is an old "B", or "C" up ahead.
