Is there 5 bolt wheels anyplace that fit a WD45 for 7.50 tires? If not is there a 6 bolt hub and bearings that will fit?

50 years ago, my Uncle had some Buick or Pontiac wheels with wide tires (9.5 L x 15?) that fit on a WD45 wide front. So, yes, there used to be a GM wheel that fit the 5 bolt pattern and was wider than an AC wheel.

5 x 5 bolt circle. Chevy pickups 71-90's had the pattern.

I measure the WD45 wheels. They have a 3 3/8 center hole. The Chevy pickup wheels have a 3 in center hole.

Here's a couple shots of my 45, one with the Buick rims/9.5Lx15's and one with 7.50X15's on 6 bolt wheels. I did a project thread on here about converting to 6 bolt. ![]() ![]() |

if you get the chevy 5x5 bolt pattern wheels, you can cut the centers out larger to fit. Did that a time or two and worked great!

Note that this is just how I did this. There were WC's with six bolt hubs that may work, don't know. This was not a cheap endeavor! I do really like the results though.
