What's fair market value on a few A-C tractors

I really dont have a clue on this size tractors. But I would hazard a guess that non running big iron like this might be at $1000 each but maybe consider the rubber condition as that can be half or more of the tractor cost. Engine work one one of these maybe $1500 to $2000????? Just guesses here. I am sure the experts in these will be along shortly.

What series 190XT? That’s really important as a series III is worth way more money than a series I in my opinion. Heavier rear end was the biggest gain. Let me give you an example on a 190XT series II that I bought. Running tractor, not a gear jumper, fairly new tires all the way around, 90 percent left. Possible clutch issue as it slipped in 7th gear upon take off. Ran well although I didn’t have something to pull. Dead batteries, had to be jumped started. Sheet metal had some damage, grill was beat up. He would not go below $3,500. I probably should have walked away but I had been searching for several years for one. You just don’t find them here on the east coast very often.
I have quite a bit of money in it, as I went thru it pretty well. Clutch, fuel pump rebuild, brakes, electrical wiring repair, all oils, filters changed. Complete sand blasting and paint job. So much more to list, but I don’t regret it one bit. The 190 XT is everything that I hoped it would be. I love farming with it, showing it, heck just driving it down the driveway with my grandson aboard. Nothing like hearing him ask, pawpaw, can we go for a ride on the XT? No way am I going to say no to that. Made that 9 months of hard work worth every minute and penny of it!

If you can, drain a little oil out of the drain plug.  If it comes out green  .  .  .  well you know!


If they don't crank over with a new set of batteries it may just be the starter locked ih the ring gear.

Probably, in my opinion the engine and tires/rims would be the big cost items. 

Not running and no way of telling, they would be worth scrap price.  I.M.H.O.

Yeah that's what I was thinking around scrap price because the unknowns could become costly

Back in the 1960's and 70's there was a farm down in Suffolk VA that ran a lot of
WD and WD45 tractors Patterson the AC dealer down at Farfield had a connection with them he must have gotten over a dozen broke down tractors from them I went down with my truck and trailer and got 2 WD-45's.Apparently when the tractors quit in the field they just drug them over to the side and left them.Picked up a D10 hooked to a two bottom plow with a hole in the block out of a field down around Chase City VA been sitting there about 5 years the fellow said.
