Just purchased this plow and have not even picked it up yet but the seller said he thinks it is a JD but I dunnno about that. Figured someone here might know. Thanks

I will check it for a number/name when I pick it up. Also anybody know what is up with the linkage pins ... they look like bolts, never seen them before. FYI this is my first 3pt plow so not to knowledgeable about them.

Might be printing on back of moldboards, something like Syracuse Plow works. They made bottoms for JD and several others. If the shears (points) are forged, be careful in hard stony ground, they will break. Will also break if you drop them too fast on a cement floor. Don't ask, but they cost 50 bucks each!

It's doesn't look like any John Deere I've seen before, but it looks like JD paint and there's JD stuff in the background. Could been made by someone else and resold by Deere for the smaller 320's or 420's. Oliver made a lot of plows for other guys. They made some plows for Ford.
You can use bolts for the hitch, but usually you'd use a linch pin. It's a pin with a loop on the end that folds down to keep the pin from coming out. Google Linch pin. You'll see what I mean.

looks more like a oliver-stover plow' have one the tail wheel looks the same' look it over more' may find markings or numbers on bottoms..

John Deere's will have a "JD" casted or stamped on various parts. An Oliver will have "E****" or X**** casting numbers. Case's will have the image of "Old Abe" eagle casted in certain areas. Take a closer look.

I also believe it's a case eagle hitch plow I know some of there plows were painted green also

Well I picked it up Yesterday and I have looked all over it and cannot find any numbers ... one thing that I found interesting is the lift pins/bolts are screwed into a heavy cast iron piece that is removable and adjustable from side to side. Anybody ever seen one of these?
