I'm hoping to get a little done on my B if it warms up some over Christmas break (yeah right). Other than that I'm going to pick up a Gravely walk behind that needs a little work.

I'm sure that you have heard the term 10# sh%$# into a 5# bag,   Put a 20'x42' loft in my 60'x100' storage barn that was over filled, now tthe tricky part starts, trying to move the tractor parts out of the workshops, so we can think about restoring tractors.   Life is GOOD!!

I've already got plenty on the go.  6 rear tractor rims to sandblast, prime, and paint.  Put new rubber on said rims, and put back on 59 D14, 15 II and 175.  Have to give the recently acquired D15 some TLC (cosmetic and mechanical).  What started as a new wiring harness on the 175 has evolved into a total restoration - no major problem.  It is already in good mechanical shape - needs lots of cosmetic work.

Need to replace the flywheel ring gear on my C. Want to pick up and start rehab on dads'(grandads) C, and just got a #4 plow to get ready for spring. Feel pretty sure that none of that will get completely finished, but all of it will get started.

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

Feed cows, build fence, build a lot to catch cows, finish wiring the grain bin, cut up some scrap metal with the new torch, and find time for these projects.

I have to fix the fuel gage on the 175D that quit last summer....problem is the hood, muffler and whatever has to come off to get to it. I also have to rebuild the pivot points on the JD MX8 mower that the 3pt is slowly wearing out (poor design). Then I have 30 tines to replace on the Howard rotovator as well as a bunch on the Northwest rotovator, then about 10,000 other projects if I get time....YAWN

It's 10°C , 50°F today so I'm gonna swap the hydraulic pump on the CA and mount the snowblower and it's chute controls on it. I've been struggling too long with it on the B.
Hopefully the slower reverse and the hand clutch will make it a bit more efficient

Where to start !!!! Finish getting 2 21's runnning, l;eft rear brake froze up on 220, mount firrent tires on back and switch out fronts, change tires on front and  back of Black Face 7030 and straight pipe, bring in donor 21 to make into a Industail 21 and pull motor out .Put that motor into Tricycle 21 and take tricycle motor out and give to KevininWA. That motor with the Industrail motor I got from Dale Hardke, when then go into the Industrail and start restoring that. Once that is started, I hope to get done by early to mid season my Hot Farm 21 with the A pump on the track for its first pass after 2 years.  This all makes sence to me so I better eat some breakfast and work out in the shop before I Go to regular work at 6:30.

Great topic
Take care, Darryl

Becoming more proficient at Solitaire, recovering from heniated umbilicus repair(broke belly button) reading John Griisham, Tom Clancy, and any others that get in my path, dreaming of getting my dad's 37 WC that he bought new back together, finally getting started on my 53 WD that I bought for the tires bout 10 years ago (like to age my projects like a fine wine), want to make a plow tractor out of it (don't see why it wouldn't be able to pull a 4-16 snap coupler at Rantoul, Il. or Lafayette, In, after all Marion Klutzke pulls 3 bottoms with his WC) cleaning out the shop so I can get more in it than 1 tractor, it just seems i'm to busy to get anything done. Wonder if procrastination plays in here somewhere? Oh, yeah, glad I'm 69 years old, and past having new children, cause as busy as I am I'd probably have to hire help! And then there is that get up and go to work thing to get funds for all my needs.    Hmmmmm, maybe I do need help!  By the way, we are coming into the good time of the liturgical year, the celebration of Jesus Christ's coming, may the advent of this celebration be a force of Peace in all of your lives.   Joe Klaus

Gotta work on the shifter and possibly some forks on the John Deere A. May do some body work and replace a few gaskets on the John Deere H. If I started right now, it would take me until 4th of July to clean up the shop. The possibilties are endless.

My 2000 F350 6speed crewcab truck lost compression on its 7.3 diesel engine at 274,000 miles.  I am not upset as most of those miles have been pulling a goosneck trailer with GVWR of 25K.  I found a 96' cummins 5.9 12 valve out of a Dodge to swap into it.  Hope to have it done before end of 2010.  I will follow-up with some photos as it permits.

Have to get corn planter ready for spring and then I can work on the 2 72 allcrops I have in the shop. One will need major work and the other only a few items repaired and checked and then paint. Need them to run clover with next summer. Put on the drapers on the 66 so I can run some wheat for fun next july. Love those old all crops.

off of two G's.
This one will have 16 inch wheels front and back.

Well as of now I've got a WD-45 in the shop to get it in good working order, engine/power steering, front end is loose etc.  Also have got an A-C forklift in for an overhaul.  Outside awaiting in a snow drift is a WD for a tune up, and a WD-45 for a Paint job.  D-17 Diesel needs to get on the list for paint too, but most likely won't be done until spring or summer.  My 180 needs the PTO fixed too, as well as the front end needs some attention, and new front tires.  Looks like I better get busy.  Here are a few pics.  Don't mind the JD in the Pic, it is not ours, its only in there to be worked on.

Been using the CA with the snowblower on the back and it's better than the B because of the hand clutch but the reverse speed is just about as fast as the B (too fast).
I'm sorta leaning toward mounting it on the front.
I know I'm gonna need to reverse the drive direction and I'd like to do it with gears and increase the blower speed from the 540 rpm. I have a pair of helical gears that are 60T & 75T which would give me 675 rpm at pto  speed. Any thoughts.
Is there anyway I can find some of the old posts from guys who've  front mounted a blower on the CA?
