I saw this tractor out in the weeds on my drive home, and thought I'd take a quick pic. Out of curiosity, I'd be interested in knowing what type of tractor it is as it has no identifying color or markings on it. Also, can anyone identify the piece of equipment in the background?

I'm stumped. Looks like an Oliver name plate, but nothing else matches that I know of.

It looks like a Cockshutt 570 might be a 50 in the weeds.

I'm guessing a Cockshutt 560 looks like the Perkins engine.Go to the right side of the tub frame toward the front on the flat place and the ID should be there

Looks like a later model in the brush back there too,not the same as this because it appears to me the exhaust is on the opposite side.

I had a hunch it was a Cockshutt. Didn't Oliver buy out Cockshutt?

White bought Cockshutt, and Oliver, and Minny Mo. Tractor is a 570 diesel, good tractors. Tractor in back has flat fenders, could be a number of brands, not likely a Cockshutt though. Trev.

The one in the bushes is definitely a 500 series Cockshutt like the one in the front, its has the Cockshutt front and the Cockshutt Wheatland fenders. |

Cockshutt 570 Diesel or Possibly a 570 Super. Hercules engine 298 in the 570 or 339 in the super.

After going up and looking at my 570 diesel and 570 Super its definitely not a 570 diesel the 570 diesel has the air cleaner on the left side the one in the picture has the air cleaner on the right rear and the exhaust on the right the only 500 series I know of that had that set up was the 550.Guess it could be a 570 gas but the engine looks too short and 570 gassers are few and far between.Plus the exhaust and air cleaner look too close together to be a 6 cylinder.

The front one is a 560 Cockshutt rowcrop, I think. The one in the bushes is a 500 series wheatland. I have a 560 wheatland diesel that has identical fenders as that one.
Edit- I blew that pic up, that front one is a 4 cyl. I think it is a 560 row crop, and the back one does look an awful lot like my 560 wheatland. It is a wheatland for sure, just not sure on size from that pic. Edited by KY poorboy - 02 Apr 2017 at 11:09pm |

Can't be a 560 as a 560 has the exhaust on the left side and the air cleaner on the
right front. |
