What bolt grade to mount loader?

Finally getting closer to actually mounting the old Henderson loader I got this spring on my CA. Hoses have been replaced, cylinders rebuilt and just waiting for the call saying fluid is back in my rear tires.

What grade bolts should I be using to mount the loader frame to the tractor? Thanks!

Grade 5 or 8 would work well.

grade 5 should be overkill for the loader.... That's a good idea.. much better than the grade 2 basic stuff.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Grade 5 works great the original square heads were grade 2

You'll never go wrong with grade 8 bolts with something like that,plus they don't
rust nearly as bad as lower grades.I rarely buy anything but grade 8.

I use the 8's, then you know they are good for anything you could throw at a 2 or 5 grade on a loader mount.

grade 5 will take shock loads better than grade 8. Grade 8 will snap not bend. Usually 
hear use grade 5 for shock loads and grade 8 for constant loads.

I agree, 8 are too brittle for that application.  Go with 5.  Fortunatly I had the original bolts for mine, when I mounted it.

I've owned and seen a lot of loaders have never seen a grade 8 bolt snap off if 5 was stronger then there'd be no need for grade 8.And if sudden impact broke grade 8 so easily they'd be used for shear pins(LOL)

grade 8!!!!!!!!!!!
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Grade 8 bolts are normally for Head Bolts and Rod bolt type applications. Nothing wrong with using them for the loader, but WAY overkill..... its your money.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
